An influencer has sparked fierce debate after fooling the internet into believing she was Morgan Freeman's 'nepo niece' in her daily vlogs.
The popularTikTokcreator,known as Justine, decided to useAIto replicate the 87-year-old actor's voice to the narrate videos she shared with her 218,700 followers.
Itultimately tricked some social media users into believing the veteran star really was in her immediate family and was happy to support her by recording light-hearted voiceovers.
In reality, pretending to be Freeman's niece on her TikTok was a tongue-in-cheek clout-seeking move on the part of the influencer, with Justine jokingly referring to the AI voiceover as her 'Uncle Mo' across several posts.
But some social media denizens were gullible enough to take Justine's questionable claim at face value.

An X user named @JahelisWasHer was apparently oblivious to the falsehood, and tweeted that Justine 'wins at life and content creating' for being a 'nepo niece'
The confusion was sparked on X, formerly Twitter, by user @JahelisWasHer who was apparently oblivious to contextual cues around Justine's posts and AI usage.
Tweeting about Justine, they wrote: 'Her uncle is Morgan Freeman and she gets him to narrate her day in the life vlogs. She wins at life and content creating. This is such a flex.'
The post was seen by upwards of 16.4 million people and liked more than 214,000 times as of June 27.
In the TikTok from Justine that was shared along with the tweet, in which she is apparently documenting a recent trip to South Africa, the content creator is seen relaxing by the pool alongside text overlay reading: 'a day in the life as a nepo niece.'
A voiceover that indeed sounds quite similar to that heard in 2005 nature doc March of the Penguins begins to narrate: 'My niece's day in the life, narrated by me, Morgan Freeman.
'Being a nepo niece has its perks, apparently. Because why did she use money I gave her to go to South Africa?
'Being in South Africa, surely she's getting ready for something cultural. Nope,' the voiceover sardonically continued over clips of Justine shopping and partying with her friends.
Reacting without further looking into Justine's content, which offers strategy advice to aspiring influencers, or researching who Freeman's relatives are, countless X users readily believed the tweet's claim that Justine was indeed the niece of the Bruce Almighty star.
While the actor, 87, has three older siblings, it isn't clear how many nieces and nephews he has through them, or through the siblings of either of his ex-wives

'I LOVE this,' one responded.
'Oh she definitely won,' wrote a second.
'Oh to be a nepo baby,' a third sighed, adding a frustrated-face emoji.
'Also, she's absolutely stunning, has incredible style and luminous skin. Also, I think he can tell that she can spend her money better than he can,' a fourth chimed in.
'Looked at my family and sighed,' a fifth added, fooled into feeling disappointment at her own kin.
Still, many more were quick to call out the fake Morgan Freeman narration as very clearly AI-generated.
'Morgan Freeman made from scratch with AI,' one flagged.
'I see why GOD said: Many will be deceived… It's starting to take shape with AI,' a second lamented.
Many were readily duped by the claim that Morgan Freeman really was Justine's uncle, and further willing to do voiceovers for her TikToks
Still, many more were quick to jump in to flag that the Morgan Freeman voiceover was clearly AI-generated
'Just me or is it not extremely bizarre to use an actor's AI voice to make content claiming you as blood family and using their AI voice to narrate made up stories about how they're related to you...
'Like I get it's supposed to be "obvious" that this is trolling, lol but like...??' floated a third.
Another shared a screengrab of reader-generated fact-checking, confirming the voice was 'created with an AI Voice Generator.'
Following all of the callouts, @JahelisWasHere fessed up to her mistake: 'Welp I've been informed this is actually AI.
'SORRY for believing that Morgan Freeman was a very sweet uncle.'
In actuality, the actor, who is known for his deep, calming voice, reportedly has three old siblings.
It isn't clear how many nieces and nephews he has through them, or through the siblings of either of his two ex-wives.
