We chose this ship for the itinerary. The Caribbean, Panama Canal, and Alaska were booked back to back to back for 31 days, same cabin. It was fantastic. The staff were so wonderful. Everyone made every effort to ensure we had a great time, and that we got everything we needed. Our room steward was always there to take care of everything with the cabin as well as keep us up to date on

We wanted to go on a Panama Canal cruise leaving the west coast and traveling east. We were not disappointed. The ship was beautiful and extremely clean. Seems like someone was always cleaning and polishing. Thankfully even the window were cleaned several times on this journey. That has always been my number one complaint. Well this time those windows were spotless. They must have cleaned them

The Elation is a somewhat dated ship, and some of the amenities on other Carnival ships are not present on the Elation. Things such as more intimate dining, and some other eateries. As always, he staff were excellent. This was a longer cruise, and after a few days, the food seemed to be a little repetitive. The comedy shows, music, and production shows were all ok. I have seen many of the

Not as bad as everyone says.

The Carnival Elation is not as bad as everyone keeps saying. Yes, it is older, smaller, a little worn, a few outdated styles & can feel the waves a bit more than the bigger ships, but I enjoyed the smaller ship with less people on it. I would recommend staying an extra night in San Juan at the Fortaleza suites & explore a bit. The hotel was an experience in itself. We also used Batey Zipline

Was not very elated with the Carnival Elation. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, 4 ports we had not been to yet. Embark was quick...and pretty painless. They need a new cruise director that might add some lido sea day activities.....absolutely nothing going on....quite frankly...could hardly understand what he was saying when he did come on the speaker.....quite boring. Food was

This was the Elation's initial cruise to it's new port Jacksonville, Fl. my home town. Our recent ten night cruise on The Elation was a disappointment. Our cabin M-182 was unbelievably noisy , Guest Services was very hard to reach and indifferent. I found the general condition of the ship in need of some tender loving care. The cabin closet and cabinets were the cheapest I have seen in 60+

My partner and I have done 10+ cruises on several other cruise lines including Holland America, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and a few others. This Exotic Sothern Caribbean itinerary took us to ports I had never visited. I set my expectations low based on the recent reviews and the general negativity about Carnival from past cruise mates. I am glad to say that we were extremely pleased with this

We have been on the Liberty 2 times before, nothing was unexpected. This was a 12 day cruise out of San Juan to Galveston Tx. We used JetBlue from Seattle to San Juan, left at 11:00pm on the 5th going through JFK and arrived at 11:40am on the 6th, no problem. We were on the ship by 12:30 after using a taxi from the airport, embarkation was a breeze. We had cabin 6391 balcony, nice room,

Our destinations were the only attraction! Our days off the ship were amazing! Our days at sea?.. The Diamond Steak House should be the standard of quality for every meal! Guys Burgers...Awesome ! Servers All friendly, and eager to serve! Boarding---at the airport loading and unloading our own bags on to the truck. Food -- over cooked, frozen, processed, tasteless, soggy...avoid!

Spent 3 days in San Juan prior to the cruise had a great time in old San Juan. It was our 5th Carnival Cruise, we picked it as we have heard in the past Carnival goes all out for their so called Journey Cruises and it had a good itinerary. We pushed out a cruise we had booked to next year, for the most part we wish we had not. Embarkation was smooth, we were onboard by noon and in our room
